Speckel has changed heaps since we launched in September 2019. Our platform has grown from a great R-value calculator driven by tested supplier data to a powerful energy, daylight, moisture and life cycle assessment platform.
Today, thousands of people use Speckel to design Australian and New Zealand building code requirements and beyond. In January 2023, we’re updating our pricing for the first time to reflect the continued evolution of our platform and to ensure we continue growing alongside our customers for years to come.
These changes reflect the vast improvements we’ve made in our apps over the past three years, enabling us to invest in building a more robust, feature-rich platform in the future.
We are also taking the opportunity to introduce Enterprise, a new plan for larger teams that are interested in greater flexibility and project management features - to be released in February 2023.
Credits are purchased on the platform and allow batch processing of large models on our secure server in a matter of minutes. This could be 20 X faster than a local desktop simulation. They are only required for large (> 10,000 m2 or 100 thermal zones) or complex simulations. Subject to model size and complexity, 1 or 2 Credits are typically used for an energy simulation, 2 to 4 Credits are typically used for a daylight simulation and 1 are used for a complex moisture simulation.
